What your hive looks like when your bees starve to death!
It was fun but expensive hobby over the past 7 years, but now we are done.
The best part of not having any more bees is I don’t have to worry bear damages, bee stings.
The family had a real party last night (the lights in the background are from the chicken coop)
This third time in four visits they broke the electric fence. I tested it the evening before the latest damages, the fence was working fine.
The Robyn on the fence, it came to see what was going on while I was checking out the damages.
Wednesday morning April 25, only one empty medium super was still on its base.

After the third night of having bears in the apiary we put the hive bodies and a few unused frames back on their stands so the bee yard would not look empty. I was thinking it would not be a problem because there was nothing for the bears to eat. Last night they came agin and inspected all of our remaining hives boxes.
This little girl saved her money up to buy a hive from her uncle. She attends our club barbecue with her uncle, Bill Christ
